| POCHI: Best Brother Ever. |

Okay people, here it is. POCHI REYES was born on March 7, 1998. A perfect white Maltese who loved to take baths despite his gender. He loves the buttons on your slippers but you'll never see a damage spot once he's gone through biting it. Unfortunately, he died this morning, Sept. 8 7am at the Animal House Clinic at Aurora Blvd. Why'd he die? Well, you see our stupid maid left a needle with THREAD lying around in her room sometime last week and knowing Pochi, well he I'm sure he wanted the thread ONLY. So I'm guessing when he swallowed the thread first, he didn't realize there was a needle at the end. For the past week, he's been really down..not eating and just lying down inside his little cage. Then, when my dad gave him a bath last Sunday, he felt a large bump on his right side of the stomach. We kept promising each other that we'd bring him to the vet but because of our very tight schedules, we couldn't attend. So finally, we brought him in Thursday, Sept. 6 in the morning and found out about the needle in the afternoon. He was going to be operated at 3pm and my dad was the only one who could witness the operation because I was studying for exams while my mom was busy with work. The doctor was able to get the needle out and even said that Pochi's heart was already enlarged due to old age. Friday, Sept. 7 my dad was the only one who could come visit Pochi and said that all he did was lift up his head. Today, Saturday, Sept. 8 (Mama Mary's bday), we got a call at around 7am from the doctor who attended to him and said that Pochi had passed away. We went straight to the vet and he was there lying in a box. It was so obvious that he went through a lot of pain. He had like a big bandage wrapped around his stomach and a tiny one on his right wrist for dextrose. SO. I can't help but live in regret for not paying attention to my dog this past few weeks. We blame the maid for not cleaning up her room, and we blame ourselves for just letting him freely go there. My little brother, GONE FOREVER.

Thank you, thank you, and thank YOU!
I loved yesterday so much that I actually have the energy to blog about my birthday.
My delicious chocolate dome cake (the one you see at Starbucks) came five minutes before time of the first period after lunch. My kada and I were waiting for it at the gate, sitting on the floor, looking stupid, as usual. And there it was!
Dude, we finished the cake in like 5 minutes and ran straight to our classes :))
But can you believe I even went to ballet on my special day!? Well, it wasnt so bad...
Thanks for dropping by and NOT taking a picture with the celebrant! Loser ka talaga, Ella Fortun :))
And of course my job as Costume Head for our Florante at Laura play is over and I really had a blast working with 2A. Our play was SO damn successful! No kidding. Love you, 2A! (I hope we get them plus points)

Wow, time flies really fast. I don't even know where to start. Hmm..
Ever since I got back, things have definitely changed.
1. I enjoy making LISTS now. Lists here, there, everywhere! (See what I mean.)
2. I have totally devoted my time and efforts to dance and dance ALONE. If you think you're tired, well just don't tell me. My sched is the worst of the worst :)
3. I hate school. I wanna drop out but can't.
4. I hate Sir Sonny for being an ass hat and making us memorize 14 stanzas from Florante at Laura. Sucks.
5. IW is just a pain the ass right now, thanks.
6. I am in deep shit this summer. DEEP.
7. I did not go to my own sophnight. Why? Because...
8. PNAB show was on the same night. Malamang I'd perform! But in fairness, I did love the feeling of just performing in a tutu again. And dude, may autograph signing pa! That was the cherry on top, swear. And Ate Charmaine made me cry. All my emotions just sort of poured onto her. And yes, she cried to :)
I felt pretty sucky before the show, just thinking of Cirque de Deux. But hey, I can't escape the feeling of "Screw sophnight, I'd rather be here."
9. I am truly social-lifeless right now. Let's go out?
10. I was supposed to go to Fuego today but we had Steps :-/
11. I miss Ella Fortun so much. Can't wait to party on Feb. 10! Hay, salamat.

It's 6:50am and I'm finally back here in hot Manila. I can't help but smile at all these things I've written. Spending the holidays with the only relatives I consider close is one of the kickass experiences I look forward to whenever I go to America.
Yes, I used up all my Xmas money
and yes, I pigged out :))
But I don't really care, atleast I got to spend time with my fave cousins :D
Oh shit, I have class and rehearsals tonight from 6 to 10pm. SHIIIIIT.

How friggin awesome is it to spend Christmas in USA again?! Mygollygeewow, its AWESOME.
I haven't danced ever since I left Manila and the last time I stretched was 25 mins. ago and my bones cracked. Plus, my cousin's taking me to yoga with her next week and she's sortakindof advanced.
My little nephew is the cutest thing in the world! I love him so much :)
Merry Christmas y'all! I'm spending mine in exactly 4 hours :)

Okay, I'm finally back in the USA and its damn cold here. I feel like a popsicle stick compared to being a suman in Manila. It's 5:24am here, and I've been awake since 2. Talk about jetlag. No one's even online :-/
